Digital Degree Apprenticeship case studies showcase breadth of tech opportunity

National Apprenticeship Week 2018 is drawing to a close, which is why the Tech Partnership wanted to draw attention to one of the newest and most important developments to this sector since the introduction of employer-backed Trailblazer apprenticeships: the arrival of degree apprenticeships.

These innovative programmes offer apprentices the chance to work with leading tech employers while also studying for a full degree, all while earning a salary and without incurring undergraduate student tuition feeds.

The Tech Partnership recently outlined that over 80 companies in England have now taken on more than 1,250 students as ‘Tech Industry Gold’ digital degree apprentices. Tech industry Gold is an accreditation which identifies degree and degree apprenticeship programmes which meet the highest standard with employers for content and delivery, offering a broad range of essential business skills to enable learners to make an immediate impact in the workplace and to continue impressing.

One of the 28 universities now offering Tech Industry Gold accredited degree apprenticeships is Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), who have recently created some very informative video case studies with a selection of their digital degree apprentices, which can be viewed below.
